Required Training

Required training courses for all UA employees are listed below by tier. Depending on your role and your specific university鈥檚 training policy, you may have additional training requirements above and beyond what is listed here. Please see President Pitney's memo on Required Training.

Verify with your supervisor what university-specific and role-based training is required of you.

3) From the dashboard, hover your mouse over "My Community" and click on the "Learning Library"

4) Hover your mouse over "Type" to locate training by tier or search by title or keyword in the search bar

Tier 1 Training

Tier 1 Training is required for all UA employees

Title IX training is administered by the Title IX coordinator at each university. More details on accessing the training based on your affiliation are located on the UA Equity and Compliance page.

Due to the increasing frequency, creativity, and severity of phishing attacks targeting UA stakeholders, as well as regulatory compliance obligations mandating security awareness, this is a required training for all employees, including temporary and student employees.

   - Malware (~10min)

Behavior Based Safety is a program designed to influence employee actions toward safer outcomes, ideally by preventing an accident or injury before it occurs.

This learning program offers two courses to help learners recognize and prevent unlawful harassment/discrimination. 






 

Tier 2, Tier 3, & Tier 4 Training

Tier 2 training is required for identified staff and faculty. Please work with your supervisor in determining which Tier 2 training you need.


Tier 3 Training is professional development. Please work with your supervisor to determine which Tier 3 Training would be beneficial to your position.

Tier 4 Training is personal development, general professional development, and other learning activities. Please explore the many Tier 4 trainings available to you!
