Applications open for remote energy academy
鲍础贵鈥檚 is a unique circumpolar knowledge-sharing program focusing on isolated power systems integration.
Applications for the 2020 academy are due Feb. 15. Participants will travel to Nunavut, Canada;Alaska; and Iceland this summer. The ARENA program is designed for current and emerging leaders involved in community-scale renewable energy projects or initiatives.
The program is held in partnership with Canada, , the United States and Iceland. It鈥檚 endorsed by the of the .
Combining visits to communities and participant knowledge exchanges with presentations and laboratory demonstrations, ARENA connects current and emerging energy professionals with hands-on learning experiences, mentors and project development leaders from throughout the circumpolar North.
