The SOSC represents the staff of the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ Offices.
Mission
The primary purposes of the SOSC are to provide an effective opportunity for System Office employees to play an active role in issues affecting their welfare; to promote a positive workplace; to represent employees' viewpoints on Regents' Policy, university regulations, and other matters affecting the intents of the university; and to act as a liaison between statewide employees, the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡, and their respective communities.

Any member of the System Office staff can serve on committees. If you are interested in any of the committees, please contact either the chair of the committee listed below, or SOSC President Genevieve Bright (gybright@alaska.edu).
Committees are an important part of SOSC's work and further assist in achieving the goals and objectives set forth by SOSC. They are formed for a specific task or objective. Committees shall report to SOSC at each regular meeting for the duration of the committee.
