James Sandoval joins ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ Office Human Resources

Please join us in welcoming James Sandoval to the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ Office Human Resources Office. James will serve as business manager for the chief human resources officer’s office. 

James previously served as a grants officer for ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ Anchorage Business Enterprise Institute/Shared Services. Before that he served as a financial analyst for Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium, a fiscal manager for the UAA College of Engineering and an accountant for the University of New Mexico. 

James was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He moved to Alaska in June 2014 to take the position of fiscal manager for UAA’s College of Engineering. 

James holds a double B.A. in psychology and criminology from the University of New Mexico. He also completed his certified public accountant training at UNM and certified research administrator training from Research Administrators Certification Council. 

He plans to complete his certified government financial manager training in February. 

James lives in Alaska with his wife, Aimee.
